Today’s featured Still Listening song is “Gone Too Soon” by Daughtry, one of the most-suggested songs we’ve received. “Not a day goes by / that I don’t think of you. / I’m always asking why / this crazy world had to lose / such a ray of light / we never knew.” Have a favorite song that you think might help another parent? Lost my only son at age 24, 6 1/2 years ago. Gone Too Soon by Michael Jackson is another good song. I Will Carry You is another by a contemporary Christian group. Wish You Were Here, older song. Aaron loved music. so many songs remind me of him. Every day us another day longer without him. The pain is always fresh, the longing is raw. Nothing will be right again until I see him. My heart will be whole again. someday.
