Lori Weatherly, author of Facets of Life; What I Didn’t Expect When I Was Expecting

Facets of Life, book cover

About the book: Facets of Life; What I Didn’t Expect When I was Expecting” is a book of miracles and messes, joy and sorrow, love and loss, but most importantly a book of hope and encouragement to those who are suffering and are seeking the peace that only God can give.  In this book, Lori Weatherly candidly shares the raw journey of life after losing her son due to a uterine rupture.  The trauma from the rupture not only caused her son’s death, but also left her with a lifetime of physical disabilities.  Lori went into the hospital to have a baby.  She left with empty arms, a broken body and a broken heart, it was certainly what she didn’t expect when she was expecting.

I'm small, but scrappy! I have a fierce passion for my family, friends and life in general...I'm a military spouse who has battled infertility for over 13 years, as well as the loss of two babies gone too soon. I love to laugh, and am grateful for every second I celebrate with the ones I love. You can find me at Lori Does Maryland
