Are you hosting an event on October 15th, Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day?

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day is a day of remembrance for pregnancy loss and infant death which includes but is not limited to miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, or the death of a newborn. It is observed annually in the United States and Canada and, in recent years, in the United Kingdom and in the Australian State of New South Wales,[1] on October 15. The Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Movement began in the United States on October 25, 1988 when then-American President Ronald Reagan designated the month of October 1988 as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.

If you know of an event, or you are running an event in your area to honor all babies gone too soon on or around October 15th, we invite you to share a link with us and our readers!

Please be sure to share the website/ page where the information for your event can be easily obtained – whether that be a facebook event page, a website page, etc. Irrelevant links will be removed.

The links will remain open through the end of next month. If you do not have an event being held in your area, you might consider organizing something small. It sounds like a lot of work, and it is – but if you have good help it is possible and so worth it. Carly Marie shares a some tips on how to host a magical event for October 15th here.

In a few weeks we will open a gallery, similar to the memorial tattoo gallery where you can share with us your beautiful event pictures! Stay tuned for that update through our facebook community page.

In your title entry be sure to include your event’s:

- Organization Name (if applicable)

- Event Name
